Minister of Music
Faith Temple Choir
"It came to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good; for His mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the House of God."
2 Chronicles 5:13-14
The goal of the “Music Ministry” is to lead the people of God into the presence of God. God is always present and in the midst of His people… wherever two or three are gathered. But, music from a choir, praise team, soloist, or instrumentalist can set and establish an atmosphere that is conducive to worship and enhances each participant to experience the presence of God on a personal and coporte level.
Music that is shared from a “heart of worship” will help to prepare the congregation to focus and receive the Word of God from the sermon speaker. Music ministry is never to be a replacement for the Word of God, but rather an aid and enhancement… preparing and encouraging each person to be active participants in every part of the church experience.
